Week 11 – reflection, looking back and self- feedback.
When we began the incredible journey with the MKMMA course, we had a survey that examined how much we are aware of our purpose in life, how are we committed to reach it , and whether we know necessary information about ourselves, in the context of our goals.
As I am already in a journey of personal development in the last decade, my score was high to begin with, 29 points, That mean:
” If you scored 20 to 30 points:
Congratulations, you are well on your way to achieving all of the riches you desire. This program will reinforce practices and beliefs you have already been using. It will supply background information of which you might not currently be aware. Keep up the good work and prepare to attain everything you want”.
On week 10, the first week of the second trimester, we have received the survey again, and my score has improved! I’ve got 25 points (less points – better score), that means, I’ve become more focused.
At the beginning of the journey, we got a prescription for action! A prescription, just as most people who desire success want to have. People want to be told what to do. So, We got the prescription:
1. Identify our PPN’s out from a list of seven universal key needs.
2. Write a script of our DMP, than a summary of the DMP and a press release.
3. Make a poster to our DMP movie, and record our DMP over music we love, like a soundtrack for the film of our future life
4. Read the scrolls of Og Mandino, read the Blue Print Builder, do meditation exercises and other exercises that activate all of our senses.
We learned to use all seven intelligences, each seven ways in which people learn.
We write, read and make a plan of action that advances the DMP and doing a Master Mind with at least one person. I’m doing Master Mind with my spouse and with a group of people that are in our network marketing business. We have a closed group, that learn together, plan and share ideas together.
The challenges are popping up along the way , not everything went smoothly , there were some misses here and there. When I got to week 11 , there was a significant challenge in reading chapter 11 in Charles Hannel’s Masterkey, it was not clear to me what I’m reading … However, I’ve got some answers along the way: we started the third scroll of Og Mandino, that talks about persistence.
The idea, in the scroll, that helped me stay in without despair is – forget the day that is gone, whether it was successful or not, and greet the new day with love and hope, or, in Og Mandino’s words:
“I will forget the happenings of the day that is gone, whether they were good or bad, and greet the new sun with confidence that this will be the best day of my life .
So long as there is breath in me, that long will I persist. For now I know one of the greatest principles of success; if I persist long enough I will win.
I will persist. I will win”.
This important week also brought a gift, despite the challenges! we learned about how anyone can maintain persistence. Apparently, persistence is not a part of nature with which we were born with! Persistence is a habit that can be developed by developing four small habits…
And all who is curious and wants to know the four wonder-generators of our lives, Here they are:
1. A definite purpose backed by a burning desire for its fulfillment
2. A definite plan, expressed in continuous action
3. A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences, including negative suggestions of relatives, friends and acquaintances
4. Friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage one to follow through with both plan and purpose
Yes, four tiny habits which really are a commitment to one’s purpose in life.
These four habits made a big difference in my life! I’ve became a magnet, I’ve became a speaker, people want to learn from me! It’s one of my PPN’s, Recognition to a Creative Expression! So wonderful! And my second PPN, which is Liberty, also has been expressed this week, after I chose to terminate my contract of work with a public institute, that threatened to imprison my future!
See you next week! Enjoy The Journey!
